Quayle Munro Limited is pleased to announce that it has advised the shareholders of Original Additions on the sale of a majority stake in the business to leading private equity firm, LDC.
Original Additions has been a leader in the beauty accessories market for over 30 years selling branded eyelashes, nails and professional beauty products with a turnover of over £30 million. Brands include Eylure, Elegant Touch and Salon System.
Groundbreaking collaborations with celebrities such as Girls Aloud and Paris Hilton have differentiated the Original Additions brands and have driven UK and international growth in the business.
As part of LDC’s investment strategy, the existing management team will be further supported by two senior board appointments bringing additional experience to help drive the business’s international growth strategy.
Under the terms of the acquisition Original Additions’ senior management team, led by Simon and Matthew Zussman, will continue to hold a significant stake in the business. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
