Alan joined Quayle Munro’s Debt Advisory and Corporate Finance team in October 2011. He joined following seven years with RBS Corporate Banking where he primarily worked within the Structured Finance team, involved in deal origination and execution and latterly portfolio management advising a range of corporate clients. During his seven years with RBS, he also worked on secondment at Johnston Carmichael as part of his CA training.
Alan has gained a broad banking experience in leveraged finance that includes funding acquisitions, MBO’s, MBI’s, recapitalisations and Private Equity led deals. Specialisms include the oil & gas sector having spent the majority of his seven years in Aberdeen where he also looked after a portfolio of oilfield service businesses. Alan has worked with a number of clients that include ATR, Ferguson, GulfMark Offshore, Northern Offshore, OEG Offshore, Petrofac and Senergy.
Alan is a CA having qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland through the TOPPS scheme during his time with RBS. Alan also has an honour degree from Glasgow University where he studied Accountancy.
