The van Tulleken Company appoints Michael Doyle, Managing Director, and Dr Tracy Long, Non-Executive Director

(London, October, 2006) The van Tulleken Company, leading international M&A advisor to the publishing, information and technology industries, announces the appointment of Michael Doyle, Managing Director, based in the London office.

Michael Doyle has a combination of entrepreneurial and investment banking experience gained over 15 years of work in Europe. From 1990 to 2001 he worked for Credit Suisse First Boston in the UK, rising to the position of Chief Operating Officer, Media & Telecoms Investment Banking. During this period he advised on over 50 transactions including numerous cable and telecom transactions. More recently, he was a partner at Touchstone Securities, where he specialised in media and telecoms. He joins The van Tulleken Company from Go4venture, the pan European technology corporate finance boutique, where he was Managing Director.

Announcing the appointment, Kit van Tulleken, CEO of The van Tulleken Company, commented: "Michael has vast experience in a wide range of M&A and other advisory activities related to the information and media companies we specialise in. Mr Doyle started his career as a financial analyst with Rogers, Casey & Associates (USA) before moving to the UK to complete his MPhil in Economics at Oxford University. In 2004 he co-founded and was CFO of Malaki Sporting Games plc, an Internet sports betting company. He has a BA in Biochemistry from Dartmouth College.

The Company also announces the appointment of Dr Tracy Long as a non-executive director.

Dr Tracy Long has experience in media, corporate finance and private equity; she was a founding director of Classic FM and Avalon Productions, and a director of Central European Media Enterprises and BSkyB. She spent several years in corporate finance with Botts and Co, a mid-market private equity firm and is the founder of Boardroom Review, a specialist advisor on board effectiveness. Dr Long currently serves on a number of boards including Lowland Investment Company plc, Nesta (National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts), and, as chairman, The King's Consort. An Honorary Senior Visiting Fellow of Cass Business School, City University; Dr Long received the Keith MacMillan Prize for Research in 2005.
