The van Tulleken Company advises Thomson on sale of GEE to Wolters Kluwer

11 December 2007:  The van Tulleken Company (“van Tulleken”), leading international corporate finance advisers in media, information and technology, is pleased to announce it has advised Thomson Legal & Regulatory (“TLR”) on the sale of GEE and Consult GEE to Wolters Kluwer Law and Business for an undisclosed amount.  Van Tulleken was appointed earlier this year to advise Thomson on its strategic options regarding GEE, and led the negotiations, structuring and execution of the deal.

GEE is one of the most respected providers of regulatory and compliance information solutions in the UK. The GEE portfolio includes a comprehensive range of compliance products, in formats including online, print and CD, telephone helplines, software and the industry leading publication Pay Magazine.  These products help HR, health and safety and in-company administration professionals comply with the law, reduce risk and increase productivity (www.gee.co.uk).

The GEE products and services will become part of the Croner group within Wolters Kluwer (UK) Limited.  Wolters Kluwer UK is a provider of business information, consultancy services and software services in the UK.
