June 2005: T&F Informa (T&FI) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Ashley Publications Ltd, a UK-based information provider to the pharmaceutical industry. Since its founding in 1993 by James Drake, Ashley has provided pharmaceutical researchers and decision-makers with innovative solutions to their information needs. The 'Expert Opinion' series of subscription journals, which focus on the drug development process, is internationally respected for their authoritative content and peer-review by scientific and industry experts. Their high quality products will complement our existing market leading brands such as Scrip and Pharmaprojects. We see great potential for growth over the coming year." Although Ashley Publications will remain a standalone unit within T&FI, the firm will work closely with Pharmaprojects and Brookwood Booklets, capitalising on the strengths and resources available in the larger organisation. The Ashley team, currently headquartered in Finchley, London, will move its offices to Paul Street, London next month.
