28 May 2014 in News & Insights

Quayle Munro Limited is pleased to announce that it has advised the shareholders of AerData Group B.V. (“AerData”), a leading provider of software solutions for lease management, engine planning and records management, as well as technical services for aircraft and engine operators, lessors and MROs, on its sale to Boeing (“Boeing”), a global aviation business listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

AerData will become part of the Digital Aviation business unit of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services. The acquisition of AerData will allow Boeing to enhance its software and services capabilities supporting commercial airline maintenance operations. Additionally, the AerData portfolio will expand Boeing’s market reach, by providing solutions to address some of the key challenges faced by the aviation industry related to asset maintenance records management and airplane transition processes in sales and leasing transactions.

AerData was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Amsterdam, with additional offices in the United Kingdom and Ireland.  The company has approximately 140 employees.

Mark Nieuwendijk, Managing Director, AerData said:
“We are excited to join the Boeing team and enjoyed working with Quayle Munro, which managed the process effectively and provided valuable insight and advice at every stage.”
