Colin has over 15 years’ corporate finance and corporate broking experience. In addition to a broad corporate finance practice, he specialises in transactions with a public-market focus. He has recently advised on the acquisition of the principal business assets of The Money Portal by means of a pre-packaged administration; and on the sale of STS to Neptune Marine Services. He also advised on the take-private of Monsoon and Victory Corporation and on The Trainline’s recommended offer for Advanced Smartcard Technologies. He joined Quayle Munro when it acquired New Boathouse Capital, where he had been a director since 2005.
Colin began his career at Clifford Chance, where he spent five years as a corporate lawyer. He was subsequently a director in the Corporate Broking department of Charterhouse Securities and, when it was acquired by ING Barings, a director in INGB's Investment Banking division. His principal focus was equity capital markets and M&A.
Colin graduated from Bristol University with an honours degree in Law.
