Simon joined Quayle Munro in 2007 on its acquisition of New Boathouse Capital, where he was a founder shareholder. He is based in the London office.
Simon has worked on a broad range of transactions across a number of sectors including buying and selling companies, raising equity and debt capital, company restructurings and advising on management incentive arrangements for both management and shareholders. Transactions for which Simon has been responsible include the acquisition of Holmes Place by Virgin Active, various refinancings by the Virgin Active group, the merger of Virgin Express with SN Brussels Airlines and the subsequent delisting of Virgin Express, a fund raising for Duncton group, and the disposals of a number of companies including find.co.uk, Trainline, The Wisden Cricketer, Eaglemoss and Soho House.
Prior to Quayle Munro, Simon worked at Macfarlanes as a solicitor specialising in corporate transactions focused on private companies that were owner-managed or backed by private equity.
He graduated from Oxford University in 1991 with an honours degree in Modern History.
